A friend of mine email this to me and I would like to share here with all of you.
A group of University graduates, all now well established in their various careers, were invited to get together for a Reunion , hosted in part, by one of their old college professors. As they all stood around talking and catching up, conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life, which the old Prof overheard.
Offering his guests refreshments, the professor went to the kitchen and returned with 2 large pots of coffee and an assortment of mugs - porcelain, plastic, glass, bone china, some plain $2 ones, some expensive - all set out on the trolley- telling them to help themselves. When all the students had a cup of coffee, the professor said:
"Did you notice how all the nice-looking, expensive mugs were chosen first, leaving behind the plain and cheaper ones? While it is normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of a lot of your problems and stress.Be assured that the mug itself adds no quality to the coffee at all.In most cases, it is just more elaborate and hides what we drink. What you really wanted was the coffee, not the mug, but you sub-consciously went for the best mugs!
Now consider this:- Life is the coffee; Your jobs, money, positions, cars and homes are just the mugs.- The mugs are just tools to hold and contain Life, and the type of mug we have, does not define, nor change the quality of Life we live. - Sometimes, by concentrating on the mug, we fail to enjoy the coffee God has provided for us. Enjoy your coffee!"
After that day, thanks to the prof and his words of wisdom, I got to thinking...
" The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just seem to make the best of everything."
So, I decided I would......
1. Live simply.
2. Love generously.
3. Care deeply.
4. Speak kindly.
5. Leave the rest to God...
and I decided to stop worrying about the mug & enjoy the Coffee!!!

Well said, Heroes! Me and my wife have made a conscious decision not to upgrade this and that, and learn to be content with what we have.
But often its not easy, with so many temptations in the shopping malls and advertisements :)
There two ways about it...however as I read the book called, "Millionaire Mindset"...the author said thouse who have this mindset is a broke !...
Whilst we must always try our best to upgrade our life, enjoy the fruits of our labour well, we must also be conscious and live within our means.
If we earn big bucks but only wanted to spend pennies,...then why we want to work so hard...leh...
Today's world are changing fast and is very materialistic. We are in between and that is why a lot of suicide case and heart attack cases...
Can we go back to our village to live then...as to simplify our thought ? dont ask for raise in our salary and be contented and happy with our stagnant call ? I do not think so...as the world is pushing hard on us to move forward...
Haiya..talk so much also boyun..but loteh khan khan..is hard man...not like my kit chai going to Langkawi and spend thousands...and now can share a lot..:)
There is no perfection in the world. We just have to do the best and live the fullness of live everyday.
