Could you 100% trust a Specialist nowadays?

For those who read my previous post on "Balloon Angioplasty" which one of my friend was performing at one of the local specialist centre in Kuching.

I would call that balloon angioplasty was a nightmare to my friend, his family and his friends like me. I will not mention the name of the specialist centre here but if you want to know you can give me a tinkle. He had incurred more than RM16K for the medical charges and to our extreme surprise that he is not fully recover.

He kept on complaining of breathing problem after discharged from the specialist centre. Upon seeing his problem, his brother (whom had gone through a heart by-pass surgery years back) told him that to seek for second opinion at another specialist centre. Do you know what's the doctor find out????

He was informed that the previous balloon angioplasty was not done properly as the balloon inside the stent is not fully inflated, therefore, the stent only expand half of the actual size and the artery was only widen half of the actual required result. That's resulted him to experience the breathing problem and his heart bumping rate is half of our normal heart beat.

Today he is in another specialist centre to undergo another angiogram and if require, a heart by-pass has to be done immediately. The doctor say his condition is quiet critical.

My point here is why the hell a person like him have to go through this suffering just because of the so-called specialist's fault!!!! It's a person's life that in their hand and yet he is paying for it too.. Can you imagine how he and his family feel right now???

SPECIALIST....SPECIALIST.....

Do not jump into conclusion as we may not know what is actually happening in those blocked arteries. The sensible need now is to get him cured first.

Do spend our energy in praying for him and ask God's to lead the hands of the doctors in performing the healing process.

May he recover well very soon.

I always wonder how anyone can know whether a doctor/specialist is experienced or not.

Most of the time, a person is called "seasoned/experienced" becos he/she has gone thru many medical cases/surgeries compared to a new specialist.

If we rely only on the experienced specialists, then the new ones will never gain experience. But if trust the newbies, then we're taking a risk. What to do, what to do???

Sung Hua's case is a classic example. The docs who attended to her in the early years of her medical condition had never had any experience with MG patients, much less identify the symptoms of the illness. They were not new docs, they just never came across MG patients b4 this!

Hai hai hai...who to trust but the higher power.
